When you use SATMock, we may collect the following information:

• Account information: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google OAuth.
• Usage data: Your diagnostic scores, mock test results, question bank progress, and study analytics.
• Device information: Browser type, device type, and general location (country-level) via Vercel Analytics.
• Payment information: Payments are processed by Dodo Payments. We do not store credit card numbers or payment details on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve SAT prep services
• To track your study progress and generate score predictions
• To process payments and manage your subscription tier
• To send important product updates (you can opt out anytime)
• To analyze aggregate usage patterns and improve the platform

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS). We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Access to user data is restricted to essential operations only.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google OAuth — for authentication
• Supabase — for database and authentication services
• Dodo Payments — for payment processing
• Vercel Analytics — for privacy-friendly website analytics

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. We use Vercel Analytics which is cookie-free. We do not use tracking cookies or sell your data to advertisers.

6. Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at hello@satmock.org. You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us.

7. Children's Privacy

SATMock is designed for students preparing for the SAT, typically ages 15–19. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or an in-app notice.
